Helpful Resources For Your Health and Well-Being
Here is a list of excellent resources, that you may also find beneficial. As always, please follow your own intuition and guidance, or the advice of your own trusted health practitioner.
Nutritional Supplements
Cardio Miracle
Cardio Miracle is an amazing powder made with over 50 whole-food bioavailable nutrients. When mixed with water and drunk on a regular basis, it increases blood nitric oxide levels and nutrient uptake from the blood into the cells, resulting in greater health and well-being. Nitric Oxide is the most important messenger molecule in the human body, responsible for the relaxation and constriction of all blood and lymph vessels, and it is essential for the regulation of blood pressure and cardiovascular health. I have been drinking this product since July 2021, and highly recommend it! You can purchase it at a discount through the Subscribe & Save program, getting 15% off your monthly or quarterly shipments (with free shipping). You can also join as a Health Professional if you are a doctor, or as an Ambassador, so that you can spread the word about this excellent product and receive deeper discounts on your purchases.
Trace Minerals, formerly Trace Minerals Research
I have taken many of these excellent mineral-based products from Trace Minerals , and I have recommended them to most of my clients over the years. They are sourced from deep underneath the Great Salt Lake, and help to replenish necessary trace minerals in the body. A deficiency of trace minerals is the 2nd most common underlying issue I saw in my client base, contributing to a wide variety of symptoms and health conditions. (FYI, the most common deficiency I saw was dehydration, from too little water intake.) My personal favorite products were ConcenTrace Trace Mineral Drops, Utah Sea Minerals, 40,000 Volts, GreensPak, Electrolyte Stamina PowerPak, ActivJoint, StressXMagnesium, and Ionic Iodine. They carry powders, liquids, capsules, and pills. Check them out and see which products resonate for you!
Dr.Schulze’s Nutritional and Herbal Products
I have relied on many of Dr. Schulze’s products for the past 40 years, and I rarely got sick. I also attribute not having any ‘illness’ in the past 4 years to his products, particularly his Throat & Tonsil Spray and C& F Herbal “Shot”. I also take his Brain Formula, Cayenne, and Daily Oral Therapy on a regular basis. I have found all of his products to be helpful at various times in my life. He’s quite the character, and a leader in the field of natural healing, so enjoy his videos, articles and products!
Host Defense Mushrooms
I highly recommend the many products by Host Defense Mushrooms, founded by mycologist Paul Stamets as Fungi Perfecti in 1980. They specialize in mushroom mycelium-based supplements to support natural immunity and whole body wellness. I have been very happy with their products for me and for my clients. The products come in capsules, extracts, powders, teas, and syrups, and they also carry combinations of mushrooms and herbals, as well as myco-brew drink mixes.
Dietary and Nutritional Information
There are several organizations and websites that I recommend if you are wanting to learn more about nourishing your body through food and drink. They offer free online summits and interviews, provide support for anyone wanting to switch to a healthier diet, and have online libraries of articles, studies, recipes, and videos to provide deeper information on your topic of interest. It has become clear that our modern American western diet is the cause of all of our chronic diseases, and that it is far healthier for the human body to eat a plant-strong diet mostly free of animal products, highly processed ‘foods’, sugars, alcohols, fats, and chemicals. Many studies confirm what individuals have found, that the major diseases of our time can be reversed and corrected by switching to a plant-strong diet.
Food Revolution Network, founded by John Robbins and son Ocean Robbins, with an annual summit in April.
Nutrition Facts, founded by Dr. Michael Greger, MD, with many videos and articles.
Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, founded by Dr. Neil Barnard, MD, also an animal activist.
Square One Healing Cancer Coaching Program, founded by Chris Wark, from his actions to reverse colon cancer.
Emotional and Mental Balance
The Tapping Solution (EFT: Emotional Freedom Technique)
Tapping is a technique used to decrease stress, anxiety, fear and overwhelm from the brain and body by tapping on 9 acupuncture meridian points while speaking aloud. It is quick and effective, especially when repeated over time until the condition is cleared. Nick Ortner, Jessica Ortner, and other tapping specialists demonstrate how to do it through videos, and offer a free app with guided videos to use on your own to address a wide variety of issues.
Here is a link to one of their free videos offered at the start of their annual summit in March 2023. This video takes about 20 minutes to go through and helps you feel much lighter, less anxious, and worried. There are two other tapping meditations on this page as well. The tapping routine can be repeated for the same issue multiple times, or applied to different issues, past or present. Free Tapping Videos
Left-Right Breath Practice
For over a year I have been participating in free left-right breath practices led online by Tom Gillette via his website This Next Breath. If you have been searching for some sort of breath/meditation/movement practice, you might want to check this out. His website has links for daily 6am classes; as well as links to his YouTube video channel for taking part when your schedule allows.
The BreatheOutDynamic System
Respiratory Therapist Betsy Thomason used BODs to assist her clients in reclaiming their ability to breathe effectively. Her book, Just Breathe Out: Using Your Breath to Create a New, Healthier You, presents the basics in a very simple way. It is based on Olympic cycling coach Ian Jackson’s breathing method that focuses on pushing air out of your lungs, and allowing the in-breath to be an easy flow of oxygen into the system. It is a unique way of breathing that I have enjoyed exploring in the past few months.
YouTube Channels
There are numerous channels on YouTube offering health and dietary information. Some of those I have found most helpful and engaging are:
Dr. Yoni Whitten DC. He posts many videos on YouTube in his main areas of expertise: movement, and the permanent resolution of chronic pain. He is the founder of The Pain Fix Protocol, an 8-week online course that teaches the essentials of posture, movement, nutrition, and self-care, treating both the pain and the whole person. His products helped me correct some nutritional needs that my joints had a few years ago. Search him out on YouTube, or go to his website.
Ari Whitten MS. He has many videos on YouTube, and is the founder of The Energy Blueprint System. His system addresses chronic fatigue, burnout, and sleep disorders, using the latest scientific knowledge and nutrients to help one naturally stimulate the mitochondria in the cells to increase energy production. He is an expert in mitochondrial health, circadian rhythm and sleep, nutrition, gut health, light therapies, fitness, and hormetic stress. His website offers a free podcast, free virtual trainings, a blog, as well as individualized coaching. His products have helped many people to transform their lives.
Dr. Eric Berg DC has been posting videos on YouTube since 2008 and is known as The Knowledge Doc. He covers all aspects of health, nutrition, and weight loss, is an expert in intermittent fasting, and created the best version of any ketogenic diet that I have seen, The Healthy Keto Plan. He is well-loved and followed by 20 million subscribers.
Jana Danielson. Founder of Lead Pilates, creator of The Cooch Ball and The Gooch Ball (patented pelvic floor fitness tools), and a leading expert in healing the pelvic floor and the issues associated with it (such as urinary frequency and incontinence, pelvic pain, bladder pain, prolapsed pelvic organs, prostate issues, digestive issues, and more). In just 3 minutes a day you can clear out those problems! She healed her own health issues, and started sharing how she did it. Do a search on YouTube for videos by her and interviews/podcasts with her, or go to her website.
Vegan Recipes on YouTube, by many creators including Food Impromptu, Nora Cooks, Yeung Man Cooking, Love and Lemons, Delish, A Couple Cooks, Feasting at Home, The Whole Food Plant Based Cooking Show, and Forks Over Knives. Explore the many options out there and see what appeals to you. Even if you start with one or two vegan meals a week, you’ll soon find that your body feels better, has more energy, and you crave fewer foods that harm you. Also check out the vegan recipes offered on foodrevolution.org, PCRM.org, nutritionfacts.org, and peta.org.
