2023: The Year of Transformation

For the past 4 years my guides have been preparing me for ‘transformation’, and helping me move toward that goal. They said it would culminate in 2023, for me and for many. I don’t know what that really means, but I pray that it will happen, for many of us on Earth. We need to live and to act in transformed ways if we as a species want to avoid destroying all life on the planet, including ourselves!

With the idea of transformation in mind, I have often envisioned myself as a monarch caterpillar. I am nourished by the milkweed leaves that Mother Earth provides; I eat and molt, eat and molt, as often as I need until fully grown. Sometimes I move to the underside of a leaf for protection from the elements and predators. I go down to the ground when fully satiated and make my slow but steady progress to that special plant or place that calls me. I find my spot, attach, and hang upside-down for the final molt. My skin splits open and my inner chrysalis reveals itself. Within it, the elements of my caterpillar self transform into my butterfly body. What an amazing metamorphosis!

Now the year of 2023 has arrived, and we are already 1/4 of the way through the year. I am currently nourishing my being with all that it needs, and according to guidance, at some point I will be ready to emerge from my no-longer-needed chrysalis. I will dry my wings in the sun, and fly for the first time, feeling the freedom of my new, light-weight version of being. I will sip the nectar of beautiful flowers, and flit away from vibrations that do not please me.

It sounds wonderful! and at times, unlikely. I remind myself that miracles are taking place constantly, inside our bodies and in the natural world around us! We simply need to open our eyes and hearts to them, and expand our awareness of them in our lives.

Several sources I have read confirm that this year calls forth a collective spiritual awakening, in which each of us can access and live from inner happiness, harmony, and wisdom. The outer world is reflecting the necessary breaking open of the chrysalis, whose limiting walls can no longer confine us. We are birthing our destined selves into being. The future has not yet manifested, so we can make choices and take actions every day toward our desired outcomes, trusting that there is a bigger vision and a greater destiny that unites us. We need to listen to and follow our hearts.

Let’s invite that inner metamorphosis into our bodies and lives, and let’s give birth to our new selves and our new way of living in harmony, together!
